News brief: Saban hires distribution director

Saban Brands has recruited Zofia Karpinska as director of distribution.

She joins from London-based producer/distributor 3DD where she was head of sales and coproductions.

In the newly-created role at Saban she will oversee TV sales, digital distribution and home entertainment for Eastern Europe.

Karpinska will be based in the London office of Saban and report to Frederic Soulie, senior VP of global distribution, and Leila Ouledcheikh, vice president of distribution, EMEA.
