Lifetime UK calls out Property Brothers

Lifetime in the UK has acquired North American home renovation show Property Brothers from distributor Cineflix Rights.

The show follows identical twin brother Drew and Jonathan Scott as they identify homes with untapped potential that are then overhauled.

Cineflix Productions created the show in association with HGTV from US cable and W Network in Canada.

“Property Brothers is one of our most successful global brands and we’ve also worked with Jonathan and Drew to extend the franchise internationally with other hits such as Buying & Selling, Brother vs Brother and Property Brothers at Home,which we hope to bring to the UK in the near future,” said Chris Bonney, CEO of rights at Cineflix Rights parent Cineflix Media.

Cineflix’s senior VP, programme sales, pan-regional, UK, Ireland and Scandinavia Sandra Piha negotiated the deal.
