EuropaCorp TV revenues edge up

TV series revenues at Luc Besson’s production and distribution company EuropaCorp inched up in the most recent nine months.

Sales totalled €25 million (US$28.5 million) for the first three quarters of the company’s financial year, a 2.3% increase on the same period a year earlier.

EuropaCorp said that delivery of the final episodes of drama series No Limit to commercial broadcaster TF1 was a highlight in the most recent quarter.

Looking ahead to the final three months of the financial year, it said delivery of the third season of No Limit and another adaptation of a Mary Higgins Clark novel would drive TV results.

Production of new Olivier Marchal series Section Zero, for Canal+, will also get underway in the fourth quarter.

Total EuropaCorp revenues for the first nine months of the year were €160.4 million, a 60.1% increase year-on-year.
