In the newly-created position at ITV Studios America as executive VP and head of digital, strategy and branded entertainment, he will look at brand extensions for the producer’s content and work across digital, merchandising and licensing.
Gersh will report to Orly Adelson, president, ITV Studios America. She said: “With the addition of Bruce, we are primed to take advantage of one of the most transformative periods in the television business, with limitless opportunities for brand growth across all platforms.”
Gersh has worked at Allison+Partners, FishBowl Worldwide Media and William Morris Agency. He also spent eight years at Disney, latterly as vice president, business development at Disney-ABC Television Group.
