Simon Perry to run production at Swedish film fund

Simon Perry is to helm Swedish production at regional film fund Film i Väst.

Film i Väst is involved in financing between 30 and 40 films and television projects shot in western Sweden each year. At the fund, Perry has been appointed head of production.

He has much experience working for film funds, having previously run British Screen in British Screen and the Irish Film Board. He is also currently president Ateliers du Cinéma Européen.

He joins on an initial two-year contract to replace Jessica Ask, who has moved to Anagram Film & TV.
