Turner Broadcasting System has promoted a pair of executives in its domestic distribution division.
John Harran has been named in the newly created role of senior VP, business and product development, and Michael Quigley becomes senior VP, brand distribution.
Harran will be responsible for TBS’s TV Everywhere initiative, while Quigley will oversee strategic content distribution to the likes of Comcast Communications, Cablevision and Verizon.
Previously, both held the role of VP, business development and multiplatform distribution. They now report to Jennifer Mirgorod, TBS’s executive VP, brand distribution.
“John and Michael are skilled leaders with tremendous experience in the distribution industry, proven track records of innovating and executing strategic business initiatives across Turner’s brands, as well as a deep knowledge of the digital and technology industries which are imperative in the changing TV landscape,” said Mirgorod.
