UK digital channel E4 has acquired rights to US demon hunter drama Supernatural after pay TV channel Sky Living decided to drop it from its schedule.
E4 has closed a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution that will see the Wonderland Sound and Vision and Warner Bros. Television-produced show launch in early 2015.
Paycaster Sky confirmed it would not renew rights to the show earlier this year, leaving season nine without a UK broadcast home.
The Eric Kripke-created series, which goes out on The CW in the US and in syndication on TNT, follows a pair of brothers battling demons in a world inhabited by thousands of supernatural beings.
