In the newly-created role at Scripps, Páez-Pumar will oversee carriage deals for the channel operator’s services and marketing in the region. TBI understands he started in the new role last week.
He will be based in Miami and report to Márcio Fonseca, managing director of Scripps Networks Latin America.
“Following the launch of Food Network in Brazil this month, we are continuing to build our team dedicated to growing Scripps Networks’ brands across the region,” Fonseca said.
Prior to AMC, Páez-Pumar was at Fox, MGM & Paramount joint venture LAPTV, and before that was at Fox Latin America.
