Miramax has struck a deal with Revolution Studios and will handle international TV and digital sales of the Hollywood film producer’s content.
The deal means all Revolution titles are added to the Miramax catalogue including those from Morgan Creek International, after Revolution acquired that library.
Revoluton’s titles include Black Hawk Down, Maid in Manhattan and Daddy Day Care. Morgan Creek films include Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, True Romance and Last of the Mohicans.
Miramax has had a US deal in place with the US prodco since 2012 and will start shopping its titles internationally as it starts reverting back to Revolution. It will start selling the Morgan Creek titles immediately.
“We are excited to take this next step in our relationship with Miramax, which has proven to be a formula for success on the domestic front,” said Vince Totino, Revolution’s CEO.
Scott Hemming, Revolution COO said: “Miramax representing Revolution globally is the next natural step in continuing our collaboration of our already established and strong domestic foundation.”
