Novelist Harlan Coben will be Cannes to promote TF1’s adaptation of his book No Second Chance.
Coben is showrunning the TV adaptation, also called No Second Chance, which TF1 International is launching in Cannes.
The action-suspense 6x52mins series comes from VAB Production, with producer Sydney Gallonde attached. It follows a women who searches for her kidnapped daughter after an attack kills her husband and puts her in a coma.
The series one of two third-party shows launching at MIPCOM. The other is comedy Call My Agent!, which comes from Dominique Besnehard and Fanny Herrero and was adapted for the small screen by Cédric Klapisch.
It follows three talent agents that struggle to get work for their prestigious roster of actors following the death of the company boss, and aired on France 2.
