Red Bull Media House brings Crystal Mountain to Cannes

The doc follows an arduous trek to the remote Crystal Mountain in Nepal, one of the capitals of the Bhuddhist faith.

The German doc was produced by ServusTV and Red Bull Media House will launch it at the market.

Red Bull Media House also has ten new eps of eXplorers – Adventures of the Century for the market.

The series follows adventurers as they seek out new places to conquer.

Another adventure-themed offering is The Rocky Mountains Traverse, which follows paragliders Will Gadd and Gavin McClurg as they attempt to complete the first-ever paragliding traverse of Canada’s Rocky Mountain Range.

Salzburg-based Red Bull organises its programming into three categories: ‘sports and lifestyle’, ‘nature & science’ and ‘tradition and inspiration’.

The distributor will also have the action sports series based on different Red Bull events including Red Bull Cliff Diving, Red Bull X-Fighters and Red Bull Crashed Ice (pictured).

“Each year we apply ever-more-innovative production techniques to catalog offerings that expand in number and in scope,” said Alexander Koppel, chief commercial officer at Red Bull Media House.

He added: “Whether we’re telling the story of top athletes across a season, the exploits of remarkable explorers or the efforts of extraordinary people sparking global change, the energy, excitement and pure human spirit are authentic and compelling.”
