Russian net says I Can Do That!

Russian channel Rossiya 1 has commissioned a local version of Armoza Formats’ studio entertainment show I Can Do That!.

Endemol-backed Weit Media has taken the local version into production, with a primetime 5pm-8pm slot lined up for Sunday, October 12.

Russian singer Timur Rodriguez will present the show, while sportscaster Vladimir Stognienko will host and commentate.

The format sees celebrities challenged to perform show-stopping acts each week.

The Russian deal comes soon after Italian pubcaster Rai commissioned a second season for Rai Uno. The format is in production in 15 territories.
