News brief: Globo telenovela hits 100

Brazilian telenovela The Life We Lead has been shopped to three new buyers, among them Fox in the Netherlands.

Guatevisón in Guatemala and TDM in Macau are the other channels to that have tapped up distributor Globo for the series. Globo claims it has already been sold into 98 territories, meaning these latest sales push it beyond 100 deals.

The series follows a promising tennis player who wakes up after five years in a coma to life she no longer recognises. It comes from writer Lícia Manzo.
