Zodiak France appoints first CCO

Edouard-DupreyZodiak France has continued its executive restructure with the hire of Edouard Duprey as its first-ever chief creative officer.

Duprey will oversee the creation of new formats and all creative activity at Zodiak France across the entertainment, factual, documentary and drama genres.

He will also be part of the newly inaugurated International Development Board, the newly-created internal unit that is tasked with ensuring content and ideas are effectively spread through the group.

Duprey’s recruitment is the latest in a raft of changes at Zodiak France. He will report to Gaspard de Chavagnac, who joined Zodiak France as president in March. Other new Zodiak France staff this year include Frederick Lacroix, who now heads up magazines, factual and documentary programming. David Michel and Vincent Chalvin-Demersay left the company earlier this year.

Duprey started his TV careers with Canal+ before joining FremantleMedia France in 2006 as CCO. In 2010, he founded entertainment and drama prodco Kaly Productions. He is also coproducing with Gaumont his first feature film, Coming In.
