Middle Eastern broadcaster MBC has acquired Celebrity Style Story, a format from Global Agency-owned World Wide Entertainment.
The pan-regional network is getting its own version of the show, which Thuderbird Films first produced for E! Canada.
The format tells the story of celebrity’s style history using archive interview clips, red carpet footage and photos, with a panel of fashion experts weighing in on those choices.
Izzet Pinto, who is managing director of WWE and founder of its parent, Global Agency, also announced WWE would no longer sell formats and would stay within factual entertainment, finished reality content, documentary and lifestyle. Global Agency will now shop WWE formats.
