News brief: NBC set for another stay in Sweden

NBC has ordered a second season of comedy series Welcome to Sweden.

The half-hour comedy series, from Amy Poehler’s brother Greg, is produced by Entertainment One and Swedish broadcaster TV4.

A second season will duly follow on US broadcast net NBC and TV4.

The fish out of water comedy follows a New York accountant who falls in love with a Swedish girl and moves to Sweden.

It is sold internationally by eOne.
