Talpa cuts international deals for The Voice

voice_of_1John de Mol’s Talpa has inked a raft of new deals for its singing format The Voice, including a first-time agreement for a local version of the format in India.

Indian broadcasting and media powerhouse Zee has ordered the show, marking its first outing in the country.

Another local version of The Voice is in production in Croatia with public broadcaster HRT taking the show. Talpa also said it had shopped the format into Azerbaijan and Pakistan for the first time.

The show is about to head into its seventh season on broadcast network NBC in the US.
