Networks raid Picture Box for programming

Various networks have acquired unscripted programming from Canada’s Picture Box Distribution.

Viasat Europe and GB Omnimedia have bought season one of Mountain Road Productions’s 13x30mins Selling Big for the CIS region and Italy, respectively. Seasons one and two of The Liquidator have sold to Choice TV in New Zealand and Discovery Networks Western Europe has bought it for the UK, Benelux and Italy.

Elsewhere, Ion Media in the US, Turner’s Nordic business for Denmark, Norway and Sweden and La3 in Italy have taken second window rights to the 78x30mins Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag, which comes from Worldwide Bag Media.
