Hulu buys Latino cowboy reality series

US streaming service Hulu has picked up Los Cowboys, a reality series about a group of Latino cowboys who are aiming to qualify for the Mexican National Rodeo Finals.

The English-language show enters production next month and will bow on Hulu this autumn. It will be executive produced by Alex Corral and produced by his LA-based prodco Corral 360.

Hulu has had success with Latino-skewing programming, notably East Los High, the teen drama that features an all-Latino cast and which has been renewed for a second season.
