Amazon has picked up US rights to kids series Lola & Virginia and will make the animated show available on its streaming service in the US.
The series is produced by Spain’s Imira Entertainment and Amazon has acquired 52x12mins of the show for its Prime Instant Video offering.
The deal was brokered through Viva Pictures Distribution, which sells the show in North America.
Victor Elizalde, president of Viva Pictures Distribution said: “We are excited to continue to launch quality international animated content in non-traditional viewing windows in North America.”
