Broadcasters probe United States of Secrets

Eleven broadcasters have acquired new Frontline series United States of Secrets from PBS International.

ZDF in Germany, SBS (Australia), NHK (Japan), NRK (Norway), RDI (Canada), Al Arabiya/MBC (Middle East), TVI (Portugal), TVN (Poland), SVT (Sweden), DR (Denmark) and PBS America have all bought the two-part show.

The series looks into the US government’s surveillance programme, which began in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and continues to this day.

It comes from the Frontline production team behind Money, Power & Wall Street.

Frontline is US public broadcaster PBS’s flagship documentary programming brand. PBS International sells its content globally.
