Foxtel has bought a bumper 250-hour package of factual programming from Cineflix Rights with an emphasis on crime and lifestyle shows.
The UK-based distributor has shopped a raft of Cineflix-produced and third-party titles to the Australian pay TV operator.
Cineflix-produced crime titles in the package include Murder in Paradise, Last Seen Alive (pictured) and Cold Blood. It also includes Cineflix lifestyle shows Property Brothers and Buying & Selling.
Third-party shows in the deal include October Films’ Obsession: Dark Desires and LMNO Productions’ Cold Blood.
Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media said: “The number of hours in the deal demonstrates the strength of our catalogue, particularly in the crime and lifestyle genres which are proving so successful for broadcasters in all territories.”
