ITV Studios picks up rights to pair of Scandi dramas

Ruth ClarkeITV Studios Global Entertainment has picked up international rights to two new Scandi dramas.

Ängelby stars Swedish actor Mia Skäringer as Vera, a woman who runs over a young boy on her way to start a new life in what turns out to be a mysterious Swedish village.

The 12x60mins series is produced by Tre Vänner/Svensk Filmindustri in association with SVT and Film i Väst.

Jordskott is a mystery crime story about the disappearance of a child, with supernatural elements and set deep in the Swedish forest. It is made by Palladium Fiction in association with SVT.

Both shows will launch on Swedish pubcaster SVT. ITVSGE will take on international sales.
