News brief: Football doc Mata Mata finds Euro homes

Red Arrow International-sold Brazilian football doc Mata Mata has gone to platforms in Belgium and Norway.

Belgium pubcaster VRT and Norwegian video platform VGTV have both bought the doc, which literally translates to ‘Kill-Kill’. This is a Brazilian term for a knockout match and a metaphor for an approach to life.

Mata Mata was originally produced for Germany’s SWR/ARD.

The Brazilian World Cup begins in June.
