MIPTV 2014: DLT Raydar bags Sundog, Grasshopper deals
Indie distributor DLT Raydar Rights is heading to Cannes with new factual titles from Johnny Webb’s Sundog Pictures and a Christmas special from Grasshopper Productions.
The Sundog deal is for three titles, two of which will launch at MIPTV. These are BBC Three series Reggie Yates: Extreme South Africa (pictured) and Channel 4’s How to Find the Perfect Flatmate. The third title, £999 Weddings, is in production and will be available as a presale to international buyers.
DLT Raydar, which is a joint venture between Don Taffner Jr.’s DLT Productions and Alison Rayson’s Raydar Media, is also taking family-focused special Mouse and Mole at Christmas to Cannes.
The BBC One show broadcasted in the UK last December and comes from Grasshopper, which held the rights, plus Baird TV and Clive Juster & Associates.
