MIPTV 2014: Courson to keynote

StudioCanal chairman and CEO Olivier Courson and Rola Bauer from Tandem Communications will deliver a keynote address on Tuesday, April 8 at MIPTV.

France’s StudioCanal acquired Tandem in 2012 and a “major new” announcement from the production stable will be released concurrently with the keynote.

The news comes as StudioCanal promotes deputy managing director, strategy, finances and technical Romain Bessi exploitation to COO.

He will take over StudioCanal’s activities in the UK, Australia and New Zelaand and oversee integration of the production and acquisitions businesses of Germany-based Tandem and UK prodco Red, which joined the stable last year in news first revealed by TBI.
