Content scores Caryn Mandabach deal

UK- and US-based Content Media Corporation has scored a first-look deal with transatlantic scripted producer Caryn Mandabach Productions.

The agreement will see Content take international distribution rights for all new CMP programming going forward.

Additionally, CMP execs Jamie Glazebrook in the UK and Michael Besman and Tracy Ryerson in the US will be located at Content’s offices in London and Santa Monica, respectively.

Content has similar agreements with Alex Gibney’s doc specialist Jigsaw Productions; Preferred Film & Television, Edyson Entertainment and Collins Avenue in LA; Aito Media in Finland; and Small World IFT and Spirit Digital Media in London.

CMP is best known as producer of Showtime comedy Nurse Jackie, now in its sixth season, and BBC Two crime drama Peaky Blinders.

“We have aligned our companies so that Caryn can benefit from our perspectives on the worldwide market and its trends, and we can benefit from her development, deep network relationships and flow of premium product,” said Content CEO John Schmidt.
