Pioneer Productions making UK floods doc

UK factual producer Pioneer Productions is making a fast turnaround doc about the recent floods that recently blighted the UK for commercial broadcaster Channel 4.

The Floods that Foiled New Year: Caught On Camera is a follow-up to another one-off flood doc The Storms that Stole Christmas and was commissioned as the bad weather and flooding continued from the Christmas period into the New Year.

The new doc follows on where The Storms that Stole Christmas left off and has experts explaining the scientific evidence behind the political debate around flood defences.
