News brief: Newen plays Polo with Euro broadcasters

France’s Newen Distribution has launched an animated children’s series that has France’s PIWI+, Sweden’s SVT and Switzerland’s RTS attached as broadcast partners.

Polo is a 52x6mins preschool series from Bayard Animation and Fabrique d’Images.

According to Newen, the shows follows Polo, who “lives in a dream world. He has an island for him alone, lives in a comfortable tree, and his buddies are always nearby. In this world, snowmen never melt and you can catch a falling star to light your lantern”.
