ITV Studios ships 200 hours to Lat Am

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has closed out close to 200 hours of programming deals in Latin America, as NATPE gets underway in Miami today.

Among the deals, Brazil’s Globosat has bought drama Dancing on the Edge, seasons two and three of The Jonathan Ross Show and period drama Murdoch Mysteries.

Chello Latin America has picked up nearly 45 hours for its Film&Arts channels, which broadcast in Spanish and Portuguese; while Discovery has acquired a package for its pan-regional channel.

The deals were negotiated by Christina Covarrubias, ITVSGE’s sales executive, Latin America and US Hispanic.

ITVSGE is the international distribution wing of UK broadcaster ITV.
