Monster’s Video Killed the Radio Star to Sky

UK pay TV broadcaster Sky has acquired the latest season of Video Killed the Radio Star, the 13-part series about music videos.

The show is produced by Ireland’s Monster Entertainment and MGMM. Monster sells it internationally and has struck a deal with Sky, which will transmit it on its Sky Arts 1 HD channel.

It has also been acquired by Australian pubcaster the ABC and by MTV’s across Latin America.

The new series features archive and original interviews from artists including David Bowie, Elton John, The Cure, Oasis, Blur, Michael Jackson, Joe Strummer, Aretha Frankilin and Billy Joel.
