RAI, ORF capture Gestapo’s Most Wanted

Pubcasters in Italy and Austria have acquired Gestapo’s Most Wanted, a docu-drama biopic of the woman who inspired Sebastian Faulkes’ spy novel Charlotte Gray.

RAI has bought the 1x52mins/70mins doc for its RAI 3, Rai Storia and Cubovision platforms, while Austria’s ORF has also taken it from UK-based distributor TVF International.

The doc comes from producer Gibson Group and looks at the life of Nancy Wake, who operated as a key link in the French Resistance during the Second World War and ultimately became the Allies’ most decorated servicewoman through her work as a special agent.
