Tricon poaches eOne exec for factual hire

Producer-distributor Tricon Films & Television has hired Jeffrey Hevert from fellow Canadian-based firm Entertainment One.

Hevert will take on the new role of VP, US factual development and be based at Tricon’s LA office. He will report to Tricon president Andrea Gorfolova.

He joins from eOne, where he was VP, US alternative development and current programming. While at eOne, he executive produced projects for A&E, OWN and WEtv.

He was previously a development executive at MTV’s West Coast reality unit and worked at LA-based Stone and Company Entertainment.

“Jeff’s appointment furthers Tricon’s commitment to growing our production business worldwide. His experience in factual development, on both network and production sides, make him a valuable addition to our management team,” said Gorfolova.
