Globosat buys Daniel Craig BBC miniseries

Brazil’s Globosat has acquired more than 50 hours of programming from UK indie distributor Power, including the Daniel Craig-starring mini Archangel.

The deal comprises 11 miniseries and six TV movies, which include a number of Power’s newest titles such as thriller Nancy Grace’s The Eleventh Victim and Cupid Inc..

The miniseries include BBC-Power coproduction Archangel (pictured), which stars Craig (Skyfall) and the Emmy-winning Tin Man, which stars Zooey Deschanel (New Girl, 500 Days of Summer).

Pepe Echegaray, Power’s senior sales representative for Latin America, said: “We are thrilled to have finalised this deal and continue Power’s important and long-standing relationship with Globosat. Power’s product really resonates with Globosat’s audiences, which is why they keep coming back for more.”
