Dasym Media, which counts production giants Endemol and Zodiak among its investments, has launched a multimedia children’s and family entertainment fund worth US$100 million.
The fund will seek to source, acquire and invest in family properties with international appeal across all mediums. Kids entertainment producer Steve Waterman, former Mandalay Media and former Mattel boss Bruce Stein and Dasym Media’s managing director Charlie Coker will head up the fund.
Dasym Media is part of Netherlands-based Dasym Investment Strategies, which counts Endemol, Zodiak and production financier and distributor Exclusive Media among its investments.
