Management rejig at Sweden’s TV4

Swedish broadcaster TV4 has reorganised its management team as part of its drive to refocus its activities on digital distribution.

Cecilia Beck-Friis, currently head of digital media, has been promoted to VP and general manager for business and technology development, ending digital media’s status as a separate business unit and integrating the group’s digital operations under one head.

Content acquisition, and channels and packaging have been separated, with Peter Lindstrom remaining as channel director with enhanced responsibility for TV4 Play and all distribution activities.

Johan Kleberg, currently president of pay TV channel unit C More, has been appointed content director for TV4 Group with responsibility for all programming activities, effective when a new CEO for C More is appointed.

The changes mean that a number of existing departments will be merged.

Other members of TV4 Group’s senior management team will include sales director Michael Grimborg, communications director Åsa Jamal and chief financial officer Eva-Lotta Malmfält, along with the new head of C More.
