News brief: Nat Geo Kids YouTube channel buys 9 Story shows

Canada-based producer and distributor 9 Story has sold three shows to Nat Geo Kids. The series in question will go out on Nat Geo’s paid-for kids YouTube channel.

Nat Geo has acquired reality series 24x22mins Survive This (pictured), 104x5mins factual show Making Stuff and 52x11mins animated comedy Best Ed.

Aimed at kids ages six to twelve, the National Geographic Kids channel features animated and live action content and launched last spring as part of YouTube’s initial pilot programme.
