SBS Discovery cuts NBCUniversal deal

The Finnish arm of SBS Discovery has agreed a programming deal with NBCUniversal.

The agreement with NBCUniversal International TV Distribution gives SBS Discovery’s TV5 and Kutonen channels a raft of movies and TV series.

TV series covered by the deal include Chicago Fire (pictured), Go On and Motive. Movie titles include Fast & Furious 5 and Snow White and the Huntsman.

Toni Flyckt, CEO of SBS Discovery Television, commented: “We are very pleased with the deal as it guarantees that our viewers in Finland will have access to NBCUniversal’s hit movies and high-quality drama and comedy series, now, and in forthcoming years.”
