FremantleMedia hires TV3 exec to run Blu

Anne Bostrom has been appointed managing director of Danish production company Blu.

She joins the producer, which is owned by FremantleMedia, from Danish free-to-air broadcaster TV3 where she was a commissioning editor. Prior to TV3 she worked at production companies including Mastiff, Metronome and Nordisk. She has also previously worked at Blu.

At Blu, Bostrom will oversee the sale of FremantleMedia formats in Denmark. She will report to Daniela Matei, CEO Nordics, Eastern Europe and Balkans and be part of the regional management team.

The new role is effective from January 2014.
