News brief: LazyTown leaves CBeebies for Channel 5

UK broadcaster Channel 5 has snatched the rebooted version of LazyTown from its former home CBeebies.

The show will broadcast on Channel 5’s Milkshake! preschool strand from next month following the deal with distributor and brand owner Turner Broadcasting EMEA.

Turner acquired LazyTown producer Latibaer in 2011 and began prepping a new season.
