Oz nets bag RTÉ lifestyle, factual series

Australia’s leading pay operator Foxtel and pubcasters ABC and SBS are among others of factual, documentary and lifestyle content from Ireland’s RTÉ Global.

Foxtel’s History Channel has signed a 10-hour package from the commercial sales arm of Ireland’s pubcaster, which includes Secrets of the Irish Landscape, JFK: A Homecoming, WB Yeats: No Country for Old Men and The Trail of Tom Crean.

ABC has acquired factual shows for its religious slot including Patrick: The Renegade Saint, A Farewell to Benedict, White Smoke, Lifers and Ifrah; while SBS has bought Hostile Environment, Tracks and Trails and Secrets of the Irish Landscape.

Elsewhere, New Zealand’s Choice TV has gone for Trish’s Paris Kitchen, Trish’s French Country Kitchen and Trish’s Mediterranean Kitchen, along with Irish Food Trails and Fresh from the Sea.
