News brief: Endemol creates app development team

Endemol has launched a new specialist team to help it push further into app and gaming creation.

Former director of digital production for gaming Joe Pietroni has been named director of technical development, apps and games, and will lead a new Global Technical Development Team.

This comes soon after Endemol moved into app publishing with the launches of games for Deal or No Deal and Pointless.
