Telemundo launches TV Everywhere app

US Hispanic broadcaster Telemundo has launched a new TV Everywhere service Telemundo Now.

The free app for Apple and Android devices allows authenticated users to view full episodes of Telemundo drama and entertainment series on connected devices the day after they have aired on the network.

The broadcaster is owned by NBC, which has been at the forefront of TV Everywhere services for its main broadcast network and cable nets including Bravo, Syfy and USA Network.

Nielsen statistic show that the US Hispanic population spends 11% more time watching mobile video than the wider US population.

According to Nielsen, 68 percent of Hispanics in the U.S. own a smartphone and spend 11 percent more time watching mobile video than the general population.
