TRACE Sports orders 100 hours as it rebrands

Sports entertainment pay TV channel TRACE Sports has rebranding and ordered more than 100 hours from UK-based prodco Remedy to commemorate the move.

The newly title TRACE Sport Stars will now place more focus on entertainment than sport and a greater emphasis on programming based around stars and sporting celebrities.

Argonon-owned Remedy will create long-form and short-form content including Battle of the Bling, a show pitting sports stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo against major personalities from television, music and film.

Star Rated is a show in which presenters and experts debate questions such as ‘which international footballer has the best WAG? [Wife and Girlfriend]?’

Laurent-Dumeau-Trace-SportsLaurent Dumeau, CEO, TRACE Sport Stars, said: “These announcements demonstrate the strong position that TRACE Sport Stars is in. The rebrand and the launch of new and exclusive content will reinforce the channel’s unique competitive advantage in the pay TV market – providing the very best sport entertainment network.”
