News brief: Disney boards Earth to Luna! flight

Disney in Latin America has acquired Gemini 8, a 52x11mins series from Brazil’s TV PinGuim, while Discovery-owned kids channels have bagged Earth to Luna!.

PinGuim claims the Disney deal is the first time the Mouse House has acquired a Latin American-produced series.

Earth to Luna! has sold to TV Brasil, Discovery Kids in Latin America and Discovery Familia in the US.
