HIT making Thomas, Mike and Fireman Sam specials

HIT Entertainment is making three direct to DVD specials based on its core properties: Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam and Mike the Knight.

HIT has also greenlit a new 26x11mins CGI Thomas series.

The one-hour shows will be produced by HIT and in the case of Mike the Knight, Canadian kids firm Nelvana. All three are in production but don’t have broadcasters attached.

The full titles are Thomas & Friends: Tale of the Brave, Mike the Knight: Journey to Dragon Mountain and Fireman Sam: Heroes of the Storm (WT).

The new Thomas and Mike the Knight specials will debut next year and the Fireman Sam show in 2015.
