Rihanna’s Style series makes switch to Bravo

Rihanna-fronted competition reality show Styled to Rock has found carriage on NBCUniversal-owned Bravo after its previous home was canned in a restructure.

The show, in which upcoming and coming designers compete to become a member of the pop star’s personal design team, was scheduled to broadcast on NBCU Cable Entertainment’s Style Network on November 5.

However, Style was binned last month to make way for new channel Esquire, which was originally billed to replace gaming channel G4.

It will now launch on October 25 in an 8pm primetime role on Bravo. Warner Bros.-owned Shed Media US is attached to produce, along with Overbrook Entertainment and Marcy Media Films. In the UK, a version of Styled to Rock broadcasts on Sky Living.

The fate of other Style-commissioned shows such as Charlize Theron-produced Glam Squad are yet to be confirmed.
