Jobs Without Frontiers heads to US, Oz

Beyond Productions has scored a deal with distributor Eccho Rights to take factual entertainment format Jobs Without Frontiers into the US and Australia.

The format sees four colleagues travel to new countries to carry out their jobs in a completely new environment for a week. It comes from Belgium’s Sputnik, which is a member of Eccho Rights’ sister company Sparks Network.

John Luscombe, general manager and executive VP, Beyond said: “As a social experiment, this format has great depth. Life changing cultural immersion, the challenge of performing your job under very different circumstances and the ultimate team-building exercise when workplace relationships are put to the test.”

Eccho Rights has already optioned the format into France, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Finland.
