Euro-made boys action toon set for MIPCOM

DeAKids and Planeta Junior are among partners presenting the first episode of Egyxos, a new supernatural-themed boys action series at MIPJunior.

De Agostini Publishing, DeAKids stablemate De Agostini Editore and Musicartoon are the other companies attached to the 26x30mins series, which they sell mixes “spectacular adventures with humour”.

The Egyxos franchise was developed by De Agostini Publishing and Planeta Junior, a joint venture of De Agostini and Grupo Planeta, will be selling it to the international market.

The story tells the story of a mysterious civilization that comes back to Earth that includes creatures gifted with superpowers battling for control of the universe, which clashes with a boy with an undiscovered gift that allows him to protect the human world.

The first episode will launch at MIPJunior.
