News brief: Cisneros names digital boss

Venezuelan commercial broadcaster Cisneros has appointed Victor Kong to become the president of its interactive unit.

As part of his new role, Kong will remain chief digital officer for Cisneros, while concurrently running Cisneros Interactive.

Earlier this week, Cisneros CEO Adriana Cisneros appointed Jonathan Blum to become president of a new Cisneros Media division.
